Hellenic Esports is a movement established by industry professionals to make esports accepted as a sport in the Hellenic Republic. This process is now being materialized and imminently the Hellenic Esports Federation will be formed with the support and endorsement of the International Esports Federation.
As a result, we are already taking the first steps of our action, participating as the Greek representative in the upcoming International Esports Federation’s 13th World Cup. Our acceptance to the International Esports Federation as representatives of Greece marked this event as the realization of our vision and its first step into the Hellenic Federation of esports.
Our vision and goal are to rapidly yet solidly and consistently raise the Hellenic Esports movement to the highest level and global standards in all sectors of activities involved.
- Achievement of high standards in players’ contracts
- Creation of competitive teams both in structure and finance
- Organization of top events in terms of participation, safety, regulations along with participation of all international organizations
- Generate active involvement of government, institutions and businesses in the field of esports
- Convert individual esports players to conscious participants of the united effort for the overall benefit of the esports society
- Enhance sponsoring and funding mechanisms at all levels (infrastructure, events, teams, players)
